The SNOWBLAST are single-stage snowblowers designed for the roughest winters and built to work in conditions where others fail. Charles Mehlhaf, original founder of Wildcat Manufacturing Company Incorporated designed the snowblower product line in the mid-1970s. With no second-stage augers to plug, the heavy-duty construction of the frame, fans, and CAT II-III Quick Hitch provide great durability.
Drive chains running in an enclosed oil bath case are the heart of every SNOWBLAST snowblower. The oil bath design means the chains are constantly lubricated and are protected from the elements, increasing efficiency and chain life. The large diameter drive shafts are held in place with four-bolt flange-mounted bearings for greater thrust and torque load carrying capacities. The fans are shearbolt protected, and all “A” series models feature either 6, 8, of 9 heavy-duty paddles for smoother operation, greater efficiency, and increased capacity than four-paddle fans.
Two spout options, rotating at 180 degrees, allow you to choose what fits your functionality needs. Use the single chute to blow in a specific area or into trucks, or use the double chute to cast freely. This allows you to tailor the blower to your specific needs.
